Overview:

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Per Diem Physician to join our organization.

Description:

Valley Healthcare Services, a 160-bed, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation facility is a privately-owned, not-for-profit organization providing care to a largely rural population and strictly adheres to its Vision Statement to be recognized as a premier employer and provider of adult living services, promoting optimal quality of life with regard to mind, body and spirit.

Herkimer, New York is nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack State Park Mountains, fifteen miles east of Utica, NY, Valley Health Services evolved from a thirty-two-bed facility to its current size and is a major health care provider and vital community asset. There is a strong feeling of community within this region, which attracts people from all over the country. This vast region offers the best of both worlds. The surrounding areas have an abundance of lakes, streams and recreational options.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Traditional Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Collaborative Working Environment
  • EMR – Point Click Care & EPIC
  • Hourly Rate - $150

Job Qualifications:

  • MD, DO or MBBS
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • NYS Licensure
  • ACLS / PALS
  • DEA Required
