Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Join an established group of 4 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists.
  • High quality clinical environment with state-of-the-art equipment
  • Comprehensive Optometric Practice: Routine eye exams, diagnosis and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, cataract, cornea disease, diabetic retinal exams and monitoring age-related macular degeneration. Provide urgent care during clinic hours.
  • Day Call – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM some weekdays
  • Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established
  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $184,483 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
  • Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
  • Training stipend up to $40,000 for up to 18 months prior to graduation

Job Qualifications

  • OD
  • NYS Licensure
  • BLS Certification Required
