A well-established healthcare organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a full-time Geriatrics Physician (1.0 FTE) to join their dedicated team caring for complex older adult populations across local nursing facilities and advanced care programs.
Position Overview:

Provide care for geriatric patients across eight local nursing facilities

Support an Advanced Care Coordination Program focused on home-based and transitional care

Opportunity to teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows

Flexible, autonomous scheduling

Longer visit times to address the needs of a complex patient population

Shared call rotation among providers
Requirement:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine
OR
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with Geriatrics experience – REQUIRED -
Must become Board Certified within 2 years, if currently eligible

Experience working with geriatric or medically complex patients – REQUIRED

Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED

DEA, BLS, and ACLS (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
-
New graduates with Geriatrics Fellowship training are welcome
