Seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon in northwest Alabama. Physician would be replacing a surgeon that was very busy but had to relocate. Solo private practice or employment models are being considered. Call coverage is 1:3. The compensation package will include a generous sign on, relocation, and possible loan reimbursement. There are 4 IM physicians in the community. There are 8 family practice physicians and 3 additional CRNPs practicing primary care in the area. The hospital averages 200 admissions per month, 200 surgeries per month and 1000 ED visits per month.

Medical Center a 71-bed hospital serves approximately 3,500 inpatients and 60,000 outpatients annually and offers a full range of specialized services. The hospital campus features a state-of-the-art Wellness Rehabilitation Facility, Regional Cancer Center, Physician Office Buildings and a fully-operative on-site Ambulance Service. More than 40 privately practicing physicians treat and refer patients to the hospital, with 20 physicians and numerous nurse practitioners practicing full-time in the area.

Medical Center is located close to the Mississippi state line and lies in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain range and is 1 hour from Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.
