One of ILR Health's hospital partners in the US Virgin Islands has an immediate need for an Orthopedic Surgeon, October 14 - 22, including travel days. This location can't be beat during the fall and winter! This position is call coverage based so when not treating patients you'll be able to enjoy the culture and beauty of this Caribbean Island. Your round-trip airfare, housing, rental car and temporary USVI license is provided. Since this is a US Virgin Island, no passport is required. In order to qualify for the license, you will need an active state license from the US.

- On-call from 0700 to 0700 daily.
- Emergent and urgent evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal trauma and disease
- Evaluation of emergency room and in-patient consultations in a timely manner.
- Assist in the triage and assessment of patients for transfer to off-island facility for musculoskeletal trauma or disease unable to be managed at this facility.
- Surgical treatment of all musculoskeletal trauma and disease EXCEPT complex pelvic and spine trauma.
- Surgical treatment of musculoskeletal trauma and disease where appropriate equipment and implants are available
- Compensation Rate: $1300.00 Daily
