**Orthopedic Surgery opening in Ohio**
* Located in ***Lancaster, OH***
* 31m to Columbus; 133m to Cincinnati
* Full-time; permanent position
* General Orthopedic Surgeon needed
Medical Center is a 222-bed hospital located approximately 40 minutes southeast of Columbus. We are the largest employer in Fairfield County, which also is the third fastest-growing county in Ohio. New wing added that features a new surgery department, 30 private patient rooms and a variety of clinical support spaces. This addition has allowed the Center to revitalize the physicians work environment and greatly improve our patient experience, as well as provide better accommodations for patient families.
The new Surgery Department features 10 spacious operating rooms that will allow for advanced surgical technology, including robotic equipment.
Annually, our Emergency Department cares for approximately 52,000 patients and we treat more than 10,000 inpatients. Year after year, we have been ranked amongst the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide for quality and safety, receiving straight As seven years in a row.
We provide care in most specialties, with the exception of open cranial surgery, burn care, and severe trauma. Because the Columbus Trauma Centers are all nearby, we are able to stabilize critical trauma patients at our facility, and then transport them by air to either Grant or Ohio State Medical Centers.
