Next Medical Staffing, a Division of Health Carousel based out of Cincinnati, OH, is working closely with a facility in northern Michigan to find a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for ongoing call coverage in 2018.

Details & Requirements:

  • Must be BOARD CERTIFIED
  • ASC Verified Level III Trauma Facility
  • Call coverage only for Emergency Department
  • Typically bread and butter cases, sick or complicated patients are transported elsewhere
    • Types of cases include: fractures, sports, general etc.
    • NO SPINE
  • Average # of phone consults in a 24-hr. period: 0-5
  • Average # of patients seen: 0-1
  • Efficient, flexible OR with block time assignments
  • General Surgeons manage wound care clinic
  • Orthopedic PA’s and full surgical staff on-site
  • Completely digital Radiology department
