Chamblee

Lead Clinically. Develop People. Elevate Orthopaedic Care.
Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking an experienced orthopaedic clinician to serve as Clinical Director of our Chamblee clinic.

This is a clinical leadership role, not a traditional production-focused provider position. The Clinical Director uses their clinical expertise and leadership skills to elevate the performance of an entire advanced practice provider team and ensure patients consistently receive high-quality orthopaedic care according to The Barbour Way.

Working closely with the physicians and surgeons assigned to the clinic, you will provide clinical leadership, develop PAs and NPs, promote consistent clinical standards, support efficient patient flow, and help the team continuously improve.

If you are an experienced orthopaedic clinician who enjoys teaching, coaching, solving challenging clinical situations, and making other clinicians better, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact beyond your individual patient panel.
In this role, success means:
  • Patients consistently receive care aligned with The Barbour Way.
  • Clinical variation between providers is reduced through clear standards, coaching, and collaboration.
  • Providers make sound clinical decisions and appropriately involve physicians and surgeons.
  • Documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Providers receive meaningful feedback and demonstrate continued clinical growth.
  • Challenging cases are identified early and appropriately escalated.
  • The Chamblee team actively participates in the daily clinical leadership process and applies what it learns.
  • Physicians and surgeons have confidence in the clinical quality and judgment of the APP team.
If you're an experienced orthopaedic clinician who combines strong clinical judgment with a genuine interest in developing other clinicians we'd love to talk.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current PA-C or NP licensure in Georgia.
  • Significant hands-on clinical experience in orthopedics.
  • Excellent musculoskeletal assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic treatment pathways and appropriate
  • physician/surgical escalation.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop clinicians.
  • Strong written medical documentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to hold clinicians accountable to defined standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working within a highly standardized and performance-oriented clinical environment.

Our mission is simple, to maintain an unwavering commitment to providing safe and effective treatments with a friendly, supportive attitude. Results and Patient Experience are our Top Priority.

Incentive/Benefits Package:

  • We offer competitive pay, paid holidays, comprehensive benefit package, paid time off, 401K with company match, and free parking.
  • Not only that, but we also offer the cost to maintain your DEA, add you to our malpractice policy, list you on the malpractice certification, and individual coverage under the group plan.
