Position Overview
Locum tenens position for an Orthopaedic Surgery Physician. Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage for a long-term vacancy. Beeper call with a 30-minute response time requirement. Inpatient and outpatient practice setting with approximately 10-15 patients seen daily and 25 patient encounters per shift. Approximately 5 average phone consults. 50% hands-on clinical work with both rounding types.
Candidate Requirements
Board certification required (eligible minimum). Licensed in Kentucky or IMLC. Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery required. BLS certification required. Hospital privileges required. Must be available starting July 16, 2026.
Organizational Highlights
Trauma Level 4 facility. Emergency privileges available with 30 days for full credentialing. Supported by a team including 1 PA/NP and 4 office staff members.
