Assignment Details Start/end: October 13 at 7am through October 16 at 7am Schedule: 24-hour call Coverage type: Beeper call for unassigned patients Volume: 0-3 consults/day; 0-2 ED visits/day; 0-2 surgeries/day Setting: Inpatient general Orthopaedic Surgery EMR: MediTech Credentialing: ~5 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details Required scope: General Orthopaedic Surgery call coverage Typical cases: Wrist, ankle, and hip fractures; I&D; closed reductions and admissions Long-bone trauma is stabilized and transferred 20-minute response requirement while on call Requirements Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery License: active NC license required Active NC DEA with NC address ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Onsite lodging provided; travel reimbursed
