Orthopedic Surgery opening near Colorado Springs, CO Located in Pueblo, CO - Colorado Springs 42m We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established, high-volume orthopedic practice in Pueblo, Colorado. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside an experienced team of orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support, dedicated surgical resources, and a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will enjoy a balanced practice with significant surgical volume, dedicated operating room access, and the opportunity to contribute to a respected orthopedic program.

  • 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient

Practice Highlights Join a well-established orthopedic team consisting of: 7 experienced orthopedic surgeons and 9 advanced practice providers Extensive clinical support staff, including: Medical assistants, Athletic trainers, Registered nurse support, Clinic supervisor, Radiology technologists, Physician assistants, Referral coordinators, and Surgery coordinators High-volume, high-producing orthopedic practice. Balanced schedule: 50% clinic and 50% operating room Dedicated block OR time and dedicated orthopedic operating room. Advanced surgical resources, including: Robotics technology, Arthroscopy equipment, Mini C-arms, and In-office imaging capabilities Dedicated orthopedic hospital with experienced surgical teams. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions through clinic visits, surgical procedures, and post-operative care. Perform orthopedic surgeries utilizing advanced surgical technology and equipment. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary support teams. Participate in shared call responsibilities with dedicated orthopedic trauma support. Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care. Qualifications Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon or truly Board Eligible (within 0–5 years of residency completion) Colorado medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date DEA registration prior to employment Preferred: Clean malpractice history Compensation & Benefits Annual compensation range: $620,000–$688,000 Potential productivity bonus 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching 457(b) deferred compensation savings plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability coverage Competitive paid time off program Wellness benefits Generous Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance Candidate Requirements Must be committed to providing high-quality orthopedic care in a collaborative team setting.
