Job description
Join a growing orthopedic service line seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physician to diagnose, treat, and surgically manage musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. This opportunity offers access to an established patient base, collaborative specialty support, strong referral network, and the ability to build subspecialty interests such as sports medicine, spine, joints, trauma, or general orthopedics.
Job Responsibilities
• Treat fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, degenerative conditions, and chronic pain
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures and non-surgical interventions
• Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Order and interpret imaging, labs, and diagnostic studies
• Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress
• Coordinate with physical therapy, pain management, and primary care teams
• Educate patients on treatment options, recovery expectations, and prevention
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Fellowship training preferred based on subspecialty interest
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active New York medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA certification preferred
• Strong surgical, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday with surgical block time
• Shared call rotation as required
