Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center (BHOSC) is seeking BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon for a hybrid role to include trauma and general
Practice Highlights
Mix of trauma and general ortho
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shared call rotation: 1: 8 for Ortho urgent care and after-hours call. APP supported call.
Typical week may include:
2 -3 clinic days with 20-25 patients per full clinic day
2 OR days at Black Hills Surgical Hospital, block schedule available
Mixed inpatient and outpatient care
Clinical Focus
Trauma practice with a mixed model of acute and cold trauma and elective orthopedics which might include:
Primary and revision total hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty
Arthroscopic procedures (knee, shoulder) and sports-related injuries
General orthopedic care across all age groups
Team- Based Care
Collaboration with advanced practice, physical therapists, athletic trainers and primary care
Strong referral network in a growing market with planned opening of a Level III hospital in 2030
Ideal Candidates
Orthopedic trauma surgeon looking for a slower trauma practice mixed in with elective practice
General orthopedist interested in trauma are encouraged to apply

Compensation Package
