###Locums | Orthopedic Surgery | Clinic + OR | Seaside, OR ###Assignment Details
- Start Date: June 1, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Optional Call
- Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient surgical coverage
- OR Day: Monday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or earlier)
- Clinic Days: Tuesday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, flexible hours)
- Availability Options:
- Full-time coverage
- 2–3 days per week
- 1 week on / 1 week off schedules considered
- Patients per Day: 12–15
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level: Level 4
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
- Overtime applies after 8 hours per day ###Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (within 5 years of residency)
- Active Oregon license
- Active Oregon DEA
- Certification: BLS
- Clean history ###Clinical Details
- Bread-and-butter orthopedic surgery cases
- Outpatient orthopedic clinic evaluations and follow-ups
- Surgical cases in hospital OR
- Arthroscopy and tendon repair procedures
- Joint repair procedures
- Total joint replacements considered a plus but not required
- Collaboration with clinic and surgical team ###Call Details (Optional)
- Call Coverage: Approximately 8 days per month including one weekend
- Weekday Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Call Type: Beeper
- Response Time: 20–30 minutes ###Support Staff
- 3 Medical Assistants
- 2 APPs
- 3 Office Staff
