Healthcare United is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well established orthopedic program affiliated with a regional community hospital in Illinois. This is a busy and growing practice environment with strong institutional support and access to modern surgical technology.

The position offers the opportunity to develop a robust general orthopedic practice with an emphasis on total joint procedures. Candidates with experience in anterior approach hip replacement are preferred, though surgeons with broader orthopedic backgrounds and subspecialty interests are also encouraged to apply.

The hospital system includes a main medical center and multiple outpatient facilities serving a large regional patient population, providing a strong referral base and consistent surgical volume.

Practice Highlights
Established orthopedic team with physician and PA support
Robotic assisted surgical platform available onsite
Potential for 250 to 450 surgical cases annually
Subspecialty focus possible up to approximately 20 to 30 percent of practice

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care with a focus on total joints
Perform procedures in a modern surgical environment with access to robotic technology
Maintain an active clinic and surgical schedule supported by physician assistants
Participate in shared call coverage with the orthopedic team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality patient care

Qualifications

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Interest or experience in total joint procedures preferred
Experience with anterior approach hip replacement preferred but not required
Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois

Working Hours

Full time schedule
Shared call schedule approximately 1 in 3
Balanced mix of clinic and surgical responsibilities
