Orthopedic Total Joint Surgery Opportunity in Rock Springs, Wyoming

An established orthopedic practice in Southwest Wyoming is seeking a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to help meet growing patient demand across the region. This opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative surgical team serving a large rural catchment area with strong procedural volume. You'll enjoy dedicated OR access, robotic-assisted surgical technology, and the ability to build a robust joint replacement practice.


Practice Overview

  • Join an established orthopedic team of two experienced surgeons serving a large regional patient population
  • Broad case mix with strong total joint volume plus general orthopedic procedures
  • Access to robotic-assisted surgical technology, including systems used for advanced joint replacement procedures
  • Outpatient clinic includes 9 exam rooms and dedicated procedural space, with hospital access to multiple operating rooms


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday practice schedule with a balance of clinic and surgical time
  • Dedicated weekly blocked OR day for surgical cases
  • Current physicians see approximately 16 patients per day in clinic


Compensation & Benefits

  • MGMA-aligned base salary for practicing total joint orthopedic surgeons
  • Up to $90,000 in student loan repayment over three years
  • 6 weeks of PTO, CME allowance, 401(k) with 7% employer match, and malpractice with tail coverage


Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training or strong clinical experience in Total Joint / Adult Reconstruction preferred
  • Comfortable performing joint replacement procedures along with general orthopedic cases
  • Interest in building a long-term surgical practice serving a regional community
