Join our team at an outpatient clinic for a rewarding locum tenens assignment in orthopedic surgery starting June 2026. You will have the opportunity to work both in the clinic and the OR, managing a variety of orthopedic cases. There is flexibility in your schedule to ensure a balance between professional and personal life.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic surgical care including arthroscopy, joint replacements, and repairs.
- Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to manage patient care in both the clinic and OR.
- Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through excellent surgical skills and postoperative care.
- Optionally participate in call coverage for additional experience and patient management.

Qualifications
- Active Oregon medical license and DEA required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with adult orthopedic surgery, including preferred skills in joint replacement and arthroscopy.

Working Hours
- Monday in OR: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or earlier)
- Tuesday–Thursday in clinic: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible start and end times)
- Optional call coverage: 8 days a month, including one weekend

Skills
- Expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures, especially knee, hip, and shoulder surgeries.
- Experience and skills in hand, tendon release/repair are preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage a case load of 12-15 patient encounters per day.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills in an orthopedic setting.
