๐ Position Overview
The Orthopedic Surgeon will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and disorders in an outpatient clinical setting. The role emphasizes non-operative care, in-office procedures, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Physicians will have access to advanced diagnostic and procedural technologies, including fluoroscopy, diagnostic ultrasound, and shockwave therapy, enabling efficient and effective treatment plans.

Clinical Evaluation & Diagnosis

Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries

Perform comprehensive orthopedic and neuromuscular examinations

Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies

Utilize diagnostic ultrasound when clinically appropriate
Treatment Planning & Medical Management

Develop individualized non-surgical treatment plans

Prescribe medications and pain management regimens

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes
Procedural & Office-Based Interventions

Perform in-office procedures under fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance

Conduct image-guided injections and interventional treatments

Provide extracorporeal shockwave therapy for musculoskeletal conditions

Work with clinical staff to ensure efficient and safe procedural workflow
Care Coordination & Referrals

Coordinate physical therapy, chiropractic care, and rehabilitation services
-
Refer patients to subspecialists or surgical services when necessary

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
Patient Education & Follow-Up

Educate patients about diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery expectations

Counsel on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and long-term musculoskeletal health

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
โ Qualifications
Required
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-
Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

Active or eligible medical license in the practicing state

DEA eligibility for prescribing controlled substances

Strong experience in evaluation and non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions
Preferred

Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures

Training or experience with extracorporeal shockwave therapy

Interest in non-surgical orthopedic care and functional restoration
