A 160-bed, non-profit hospital serving 11 counties in Eastern KY with a service population of 160K is seeking to add a General Orthopedic Surgeon to their team. Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, just an hour from Lexington, the area offers small-town charm and the beauty of Daniel Boone National Forest, with biking, boating, fishing, camping and water sports available.
Competitive guaranteed base salary between 50-65% MGMA, depending on experience-to otart with option to transition to wRVU-based model. Provide comprehensive orthopedic care with a focus on outpatient services and inpatient call coverage (1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month).. APPs take first call. Join one other General Orthopedic Surgeon. FT hospital-employed position. Generous benefits package. Loan repayment assistance. Level 4 Trauma Center. Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement. Modern, state-of-the-art facility that includes 32 medical specialties and a newly constructed 81,000 sq ft Medical Pavilion..
