Call Structure

Weekdays & weekends included

APC handles first call

Surgeon goes in as needed

Part of trauma call team
-
Orthopedic hospitalist APC rounds daily and weekends
Practice Environment

Group shares monthly call with 2 employed + 2 private physicians
-
Current gap: 6 call days/month (plus vacation/illness coverage)

Clinical Expectations

Typical orthopedic trauma and general orthopedic surgical care

Patient encounters: Variable per shift

Hospital inpatient consults and operative management as indicated
Requirements

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgery

Active license required (no licensing candidates accepted)

Vaccination: Annual Influenza vaccine (or mask compliance)
