Floor consults

Surgical cases originating from the ED

Office follow-up for completed cases

Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 7:00a–7:00a

Call Type: Beeper call

Response Time: 30 minutes

Estimated Shifts per Month: 8

Typical cases:

Hip fractures
-
Ankle fractures
-
I&D
-
General orthopedic consults
-
-
Adult patient population: 95%
-
Average admissions while on call: 3–4

Typical day includes:

ED call coverage
