Central Virginia Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (CVOSM), a well-established and respected orthopaedic group serving the Fredericksburg region for over 45 years, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Orthopaedist to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, collegial, high-volume group supported by a large referral base and strong hospital partnership. We welcome candidates with a solid general orthopaedic foundation; subspecialty interests (sports, hand, adult reconstruction, foot and ankle) can also be supported.
Central Virginia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine focuses on helping patients return to active, pain free lives through comprehensive orthopedics and sports medicine care. We treat a variety of conditions from sports medicine injuries to total joint replacement, allowing a broad clinical experience. With two main locations, our well-established group has been serving patients in the Fredericksburg region for over 45 years.
Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a modern, 133-bed acute-care hospital recognized for its 24/7 emergency services, advanced surgical facilities, and specialized programs including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, and a Level III NICU. We operate as part of the HCA Virginia Health System, the state’s largest healthcare network. Since our opening in June of 2010, we have received recognition as a top performer on Key Quality Measures, and dedicate ourselves to improving the health of our community, offering:

Qualified Candidates:
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
- Provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and ability to educate patients
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
