A Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon is sought to join a well-established, community-focused orthopedic practice serving patients across northwest Illinois and the surrounding tri-state region. This role offers the opportunity to build strong patient relationships while delivering high-quality orthopedic and surgical care in both ambulatory and hospital settings.
Practice Highlights
* Join a collaborative team of three orthopedic surgeons supported by experienced advanced practice providers
* Strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care
* Dedicated orthopedic surgical nurse navigators to support preoperative readiness and optimize postoperative outcomes
* Close collaboration with ambulatory nursing and physical rehabilitation teams to facilitate same-day discharge for appropriate total joint patients
* Practice located in a modern multi-specialty clinic conveniently situated approximately one mile from a 100-bed hospital
Schedule & Call
* Four days per week of direct patient care
* Shared call coverage at 1:3
Service Area
* Integrated healthcare network serving northwest Illinois, eastern Iowa, and southwestern Wisconsin
Qualifications
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
* Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
* Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
* Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Illinois medical license
* Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a rural or community-based healthcare environment
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Compensation & Benefits
* Compensation range: $598,517 – $800,000, with opportunity to earn above base salary based on productivity
