With on-call duties and OR access available every day, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cover orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons
  • Work exclusively in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians including specialists in joint, spine, hand, and podiatry
  • Utilize nursing and advanced practice provider support in the OR

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Active IA and/or IL License or Active IMLC
  • Fellowship trained in orthopedics
  • Experienced in the field
  • Willingness to work at both Davenport and Silvis locations
  • Clean malpractice/background, with current NPDB self-query

Working Hours

  • 24-hour shifts
  • Flexible scheduling for days needed on call
  • No clinic duties, inpatient responsibilities only

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
  • Strong surgical skills for orthopedic trauma procedures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare team members
