Surgery - Orthopedic Locum job in Paducah, KY

Facility is looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon as backfill for surgery and Hospital Call!

Open Dates:

4/3, 7a-4/13, 7a and more with potential ongoing needs

24 hour Emergency Call with call back (note: 2-4 hours gratis are preferred for the 24 hour rate)

Job Details:

• Provider MUST be able to do hip nailing procedures

• SHIFT Schedule: 24hr call 7a-7a

• Patient demographics: Adults, pediatrics, & geriatrics

• EPIC EMR system

• Orthopedic Surgical Cases, Trauma such as hip nailing, treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints, Total Joint Replacement/Revision or Repair (Hip, Knee, Shoulder), Spinal Surgery (w/o Instrumentation - Lumbar ,w/o Instrumentation - Cervical, w/ Instrumentation - Cervical ,w/ Instrumentation - Thoracic, w/ Instrumentation - Lumbar, w/o Instrumentation - Thoracic), Arthroscopy

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified - [REQUIRED]

• Active KY License – [REQUIRED] IMLC is acceptable

• Active DEA - [Required]

• Orthopedic Fellowship - [Preferred]

• BLS Certified – [REQUIRED]

• COVID Vaccination - [Preferred]

• General surgical and non-surgical orthopedic procedures - [REQUIRED]

• Hip/knee replacement procedures - [REQUIRED]

• Arthroscopy - [REQUIRED]

• Hip/knee repair or revision procedures - [REQUIRED]

• CLEAN BACKGROUND - [REQUIRED]
