  • Short-term call-only orthopedic coverage with defined dates
  • Expedited credentialing available with temporary privileges
  • Low daily patient volume with inpatient and outpatient exposure
Assignment Details Coverage type: Call only Reason for coverage: Vacation Dates: November 24, 2025 through December 31, 2025 Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient Call type: Beeper call Call scope: Assigned and unassigned patients Call response time: 30 minutes Call ratio: 20 Call back percentage: 10% Patient volume per shift: 1–2 Admissions per shift: 1 EMR: Athena Hospital stroke certified: Yes Trauma level: Level IV Clinical Details General orthopedic call coverage Arthroscopy – preferred Total joint replacement (hip, knee, other) – preferred Joint revision or repair (shoulder, hip, knee, other) – preferred Hand procedures – preferred Tendon release and repair – preferred Peripheral nerve surgery – preferred Spine procedures with or without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) – preferred Percutaneous disc surgery – preferred Requirements Board eligible or board certified orthopedic surgeon Active Texas license or IMLC eligibility ABLS, ACLS, and BLS required Ability to obtain privileges with short turnaround Clean malpractice history strongly preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
