Job Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic care with coverage of the ER at a Level II Trauma Center
- Handle a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues
- Collaborate with dedicated PA support
- Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-ups three mornings per week
Qualifications
- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
- 5 years of Level II experience required
- WA state license highly preferred or IMLC with LOQ
- BLS and DEA required; candidates can complete these certifications after offer acceptance
Working Hours
- Nights, with occasional call coverage
- 24/7 coverage during the assigned two weeks per month
Skills
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Ability to manage a varying caseload, from 0-7 admissions/patients per day
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with hospital support and MA in outpatient clinic
