Locums Orthopedic Surgery – Tacoma, WA (IMLC Accepted)
Level II Trauma Center | 6–9 Month Assignment

Availability Requirements
- 2 weeks per month (24/7 ER call; plus 3 clinic mornings/week)
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed (~90 days)
- Duration: 6–9 months
- Schedule: Based on gaps in internal surgeon’s schedule
- WA Medical License – Highly Preferred
- IMLC with LOQ – Accepted
- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon – REQUIRED
- Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon – REQUIRED
- BLS – Required (can obtain after offer)
- DEA – Required (can obtain after offer)
- Trauma experience acceptable even without trauma fellowship, IF credentialing is still possible.
- Hospital + Outpatient Clinic
- EMR: EPIC
- ER Coverage (24/7) for 2 weeks per month at a Level II trauma center
- Outpatient Clinic: 3 mornings/week (Mon–Fri; days TBD)
- Dedicated PA support for call coverage
- Hospital + MA support in clinic
- Full spectrum orthopedics
- Excluding complex pelvic cases
- Daily volume: Varies 0–7 admissions/patients/day
