  • Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to manage trauma and acute orthopedic cases.
  • Ideal for surgeons seeking recurring weekend or holiday coverage opportunities.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Call Only Setting: Inpatient Schedule: - November 27–December 1, 7a - Additional coverage needed for Christmas and one weekend per month ongoing Call Type: Beeper Response Time: 30 minutes Call Ratio: 1:2 Support Staff: 2 RNs Patients Seen: 4 per shift Admissions: 4 per shift EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 90 days Clinical Details Manage inpatient and ER orthopedic consults, fractures, and trauma cases. Perform general orthopedic procedures including arthroscopy, joint replacement, and fracture repair. Handle a range of adult and limited pediatric orthopedic emergencies. Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active Missouri license or IMLC Current ACLS and BLS certifications Comfortable providing comprehensive inpatient orthopedic call coverage Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
