Orthopedic Surgery Locums Physician, New Mexico
Low-volume orthopedic surgery locums assignment in New Mexico with consistent scheduling and quick onboarding.
Highlights
- Only 3 patients per shift; low volume, high control
- 7on/7off; maintain a balanced schedule
- Credentialing in 30 days; start by January
- Malpractice with tail, travel, and lodging included
Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only at a Level III trauma site
- Supported by RNs, MAs, and APPs
- Beeper call for assigned patients only
Schedule
- Mix of weekday clinic and 24-hour weekend call
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- 14 shifts monthly; flexible
Cases and Procedures
- General orthopedic surgery
- Includes fracture care and infection management
- No trauma or high-acuity volume
Requirements
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Active New Mexico license (or in process)
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, hotel, and rental car included
- Malpractice with tail coverage provided
