Position: General Orthopedic Surgery
- Hip/knee replacements (new Velas robot technology)
- Shoulder replacements, arthroscopic procedures
- Injections, carpal tunnel release, non-surgical treatments
- No spine surgery required
Practice Overview
- Volume: 30 encounters/day clinic, 2-3 surgeries/OR day
- Service Area: Gem County (~18,000 population)
- Growth Potential: Capturing patients traveling to Boise
Schedule
- Clinical: 2.5 days/week outpatient
- OR: 2 days/week surgical
- Admin: 0.5 day/week
- Flexibility: Open to 4-day work week
- Call: None required
- Hours: 8-hour days, flexible scheduling
Technology & Infrastructure
- New Velas Robotic System - precision cutting, enhanced accuracy
- OR Team: ~8 personnel including 2 CRNAs + 2 PRN backup
- Management: Experienced managers (Beth/Sarah) with orthopedic background
- Hospital: 16-bed Critical Access with full surgical capabilities
- Imaging: 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray
- Services: Full lab, 24/7 ED, pharmacy
Compensation Package
- Total Target: $709,000+ annually
- Year 1: $618,000
- Base Salary: $520,000
- Medical Director Stipend: $48,000
- Signing/Retention Bonus: $50,000 (50% at signing, 50% at start)
- Production Incentives: wRVU-based $61.45 tier 1, $69.98 tier 2
- Quality Bonuses: $5,000
- Patient Satisfaction: $5,000
- After Hours: $1,000/procedure, $500/consult (~$5,000/year)
