Seeking a full-time Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide clinical, surgical, and trauma care, including call coverage and follow-up clinic visits. The role includes inpatient responsibilities such as rounding on post-op patients, conducting consults, and performing surgeries.
Job Responsibilities
• Round on post-operative patients and manage inpatient/ED consults.
• Perform orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements and fracture care.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and collaborate with medical staff.
• Participate in teaching opportunities for residents and students.
Qualifications
• Clean malpractice history.
• Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC.
• Availability at least 2 weeks per month.
• Experience in trauma and orthopedic surgical procedures required.
