🩺 Ortho Call Coverage – Baltimore, MD | 1 Weekend/Month | Start Sept 22

We’re working on a weekend orthopedic call locum opportunity in Baltimore, MD, starting September 22, 2025, for a 1-year contract. This is a great low-commitment opportunity—just one weekend per month with 24-hour call coverage and emergency credentialing available in 2–3 weeks!

📍 Location: Baltimore, MD
🏥 Facility: Level 3 Trauma
🗓️ Start Date: September 22, 2025
📋 Contract Length: 12 months (with option to extend)
💻 EMR: Cerner
🚗 Travel: Minimal – local candidates preferred

🕐 Schedule:
• One weekend/month (Fri–Sun)
• 24hr call shifts (7a–7a)
• Avg. 4–5 calls per day
• Usually 1 in-person visit required per weekend

💼 Clinical Details:
• Ortho weekend call coverage
• Bread & butter ortho, fractures, and some infections
• Patients: Primarily adults 17+, rare peds
• Support team includes PAs, residents, and RNs
• Avg. daily volume: 0–3 cases

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Maryland License REQUIRED
• 1+ year experience
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, and MD CSR required
• Must be comfortable with Cerner (preferred)

🕒 Credentialing: Emergency privileges available – 2–3 weeks
