Job description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon for locum tenens call-only coverage. This opportunity offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the chance to work in a supportive, well-equipped facility with no outpatient duties.

Provide inpatient call-only coverage for orthopedic surgery.

Respond to beeper call with a 30-minute response time.

Manage phone consults (~5/day), admissions (~4/day), and assigned patient rounding.

Handle surgical cases including hip, knee, shoulder, and other joint procedures.

Evaluate and treat trauma and non-trauma ortho cases.

Maintain clear documentation using Cerner EMR.

MD or DO degree with completed Orthopaedic Surgery residency.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Active Missouri (MO) medical license (Required).

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Must have experience in key orthopedic procedures (see "Skills").
