Job description Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity – Erie

Full-Time | Level II Trauma Center | $50,000 Sign-On Bonus | PSLF Eligible | H-1B Sponsorship Available

Position Overview

A nonprofit, integrated health system in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a high-volume, well-supported orthopedic program at a Level II Trauma Center. This opportunity offers strong surgical volume, dedicated resources, academic involvement, and an excellent quality of life.

  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Call: 1:5, with trauma call required

  • H-1B visa candidates welcome

  • Employed model with Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility

  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction preferred (not required)

Compensation & Incentives
  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency

  • Adult Reconstruction Fellowship preferred, not required

  • Open to recent fellowship-trained surgeons

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery

  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

  • DEA certification
