Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgery opening in St. Louis, MO - Located in St. Louis, MO - Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call - Must be Board Eligible/Certified - Coverage need is Mon 7am to Wednesday 7am. 24-hour call - Start Date: 04-19-2024 - Many openings available needing coverage - No IMLC licensed providers allowed - Will allow bids that need to RENEW their MO license - EMR System: Epic - Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient - Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges?: Yes - Admissions Required? Yes - What Trauma Level Is This Facility? 1 - Are temporary privileges available?: Yes - What PEDs Level Is This Facility? 1 - Is Hospital Stroke Certified? Yes - Beds In Department: 1100 - BLS Certification Required - Total Joints: not required but there are times you will put in a total hip due to femoral neck fractures - Prefer if you can/are comfortable to fix periprosthetic fractures, that would be a bonus - There is PA support inhouse 24/7 and in the clinic - Pelvic/Acetabular cases are required - The provider needs to be able to appropriately take care of any Level 1 orthopedic trauma Call Information: - 2nd Call/Backup - Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes - Call Ratio: Q4 - Call Back %: 20 - Avg Phone Consults: 5 - Avg Patients Seen: 10 Required Skills: - Arthroscopy - Total Joint replacement * Hip * knee * Other (excludes hip and knee) - Tendon release/repair
