Wonderful weekend call Orthopedic Surgery job opportunity available in Charlotte, North Carolina, starting April 29th and is going through September 16th. Is this something you would be interested in, let me know either way!
- Weekend coverage PRN.
- Orthopedic Trauma Level 2
- Friday 7a-Sun 7a
- Provide orthopedic coverage for Level II trauma center, including ED consultations, reductions, splinting/casting, and any indicated operative procedures.
- Provide orthopedic coverage for in patients with acute musculoskeletal conditions.
- The definitive surgical treatment of pelvic and/or acetabulum fractures is not expected, but provisional stabilization with skeletal traction, external fixation, and/or application of pelvic binders is in scope.
- There are no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- Provide guidance and oversight of orthopedic trauma APPs who assist with the Orthopaedic Trauma Service and who serve as “first call” for the service.
