**Orthopedic Spine Surgery Opening in Altoona, PA**

Seeking a Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base.Â
* The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospitals emergency and trauma departments. Â
* Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 9 Physician Assistants and a non-surgical sports medicine physician
* Trauma call 1:5
* Practice call 1:5
* In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
* Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
* Hospital has 18 ORs; Ambulatory Surgery Center had 6 ORs
* Team physicians for local Division 1 University

**Requirements**
* Must have an MD or DO
* BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
* Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

* Accredited level II trauma, stroke and chest pain center, and a regional oncology center.
* Additional signature services include comprehensive cardiology/cardiovascular surgery, behavioral health, bariatrics, maternity, robotic surgery, and wound care.
* 4-star CMS hospital with a Leapfrog A grade in patient safety.
* The medical staff is comprised of approximately 400 primary care and specialty physicians, including full-service hospitalists, intensivists and a team of interventional radiologists.
