24 Hour Orthopedic Call Coverage Needed in Central Michigan.We offer competitive compensation, along with paid travel, and medical malpractice coverage. Please see additional details below:
Clinic, Call, or Both:
- 24 hour Call only
- Call volume averages around 2-3 calls per weekend
Schedule:
- Four days of orientation prior to April 26
- April 26 @ 7am - April 29 @ 7am
- May 3 @ 7am - May 6 @ 7am
- August 1 @ 7am - August 6 @ 7am
- August 29 @ 7am - September 3 @ 7am
- September 12 @ 7am - September 16 @ 7am
- September 26 @ 7am - September 30 @ 7am
- October 4 @ 7am - October 11 @ 7am
- October 17 @ 7am - October 22 @ 7am
- November 7 @ 7am - November 12 @ 7am
- November 15 @ 7am - November 20 @ 7am
- December 5 @ 7am - December 9 @ 7am
- December 23 @ 7am - December 30 @ 7am
Cases/Procedures:
- Orthopedic Fractures
- Tendon Ruptures
- Wound /Infection Washouts
- NO Spine Work
- NO infected joint transfers
Clinical support:
- No APP
EMR and Dictation Tools:
- EPIC/Dragon
Required experience, training, and certifications:
- BLS
Case Log Requirements:
- 100 cases in 24 months
Consider IMLC or waiting for a license:
- Will consider IMLC
Qualifications
All Residencies & Fellowships must be ACGME Approved
No large malpractice issues
Clean NPDB
Three professional references that have worked with the provider within 18 months
Active MI license, DEA, and CSR
Case/patient logs (number varies per specialty)
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
