• Work Dates Needed: Monday- Friday; 3-6 months. Starting as soon as accepted/cleared.

• Preferred Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM

• Worksite Setting:

• Must BE BC/BE in orto surgery, with CA license and active BLS

• will cover travel costsover 50 miles.

• Scope of Work: Provides assessment and treatment, as indicated, for patients referred to subspecialty clinics by HDHS primary care providers, other subspecialists, Public-Private Partnership Clinics, and contracting agencies such as the California Department of Corrections.
  · Schedules and performs outpatient surgery and/or special procedures in the clinic or in the HDHS Ambulatory Surgery Center, as applicable.
  · Develops and implements a plan of care or management, where indicated.
  · Provides treatment recommendations to the referring primary care provider, where indicated.
  · Refers patients for other subspecialty consultations and/or treatment, as appropriate
