Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity - Kingsport, TN
Appalachian Orthopedics is seeking a total joint surgeon to join a practice in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Appalachian Orthopedics, with offices in Bristol, Tennessee, Johnson City, Tennessee and Kingsport, Tennessee have been serving patients in the Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee area for more than 30 years. With fellowship trained and specialty trained orthopedic physicians, Appalachian Orthopedics provides services in ankle, back, elbow, foot, hand, hip, knee, neck, shoulder, spine, and wrist. At Appalachian Orthopedics, we specialize in keeping patients active.
Opportunity Details:
The Appalachian Highlands consists of three mid-size cities (Bristol, TN/VA, Kingsport, TN, Johnson City, TN). Sullivan County, TN and Washington County, TN combined is roughly 300,000 in population. The area is within driving distance to one half of the US population.
Partnering with and serving Kingsport, Tennessee, and its surrounding region for more than 80 years, Holston Valley Medical Center features the latest healthcare designs and innovations, including new intensive care units and operating suites, as well as expanded emergency and radiology departments. Holston Valley’s world-renowned cardiovascular program is a national leader in clinical research trials, has been named a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital five times by IBM Watson Health and was the first in Tennessee to offer transcatheter aortic valve replacement surgery for patients who are unable to undergo open-heart surgery. The Christine LaGuardia Phillips Cancer Center provides a full range of oncology diagnostic and treatment options, including a Trilogy linear accelerator, and Holston Valley is home to the latest in surgical robotics, including DaVinci Xi for minimally invasive surgery and MAKO for joint replacement surgery.
