**Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in Northern California**
~ Located 20m to University town Chico, 65m to Sacramento & on the edge of Tahoe National Forest
**Position Details**

- General Bread & Butter Orthopedist
- Independent Contractor
- Opportunity for a general orthopedist to join two other orthopedists who enjoys performing the bread and butter surgeries: hips, knees, shoulders.
- Call rotation would be 1:3 for our emergency services department, which is a Level III Trauma Center.
- Hospital-based practice with the business aspect of the practice operated by the Hospital and the physicians sole responsibility the practice of medicine.
- The physician is an independent contractor and not employed, 1099 vs W2, compensation is market.
- New five-story tower that includes ambulatory care services, intensive care unit, labor and delivery center, and two floors for medical/surgical units.
- The overall project doubled the square footage of the hospital and increased beds from 133 to 211.
- Hospital offers all services and specialties with the exception of cardio-thoracic surgery and neurosurgery.
