Job Responsibilities
- Provide solo coverage in the emergency room, handling a variety of acute cases.
- Collaborate with mid-level providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Manage an annual patient volume of 32,000 with daily encounters ranging from 90-100 patients.
- Document clinical findings and decision-making processes via EMR: Meditech 6.1
Qualifications
- Board certified in Emergency and Trauma Medicine.
- NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and emergency medical protocols.
Working Hours
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Skills
- Strong ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
