Key Details
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed (minimum 60+ days)
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, minimum 5 shifts per month, more preferred
- Patient Population: All Ages
- Location: Jackson, OH
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the ED
- Manage hospital admissions from the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with consulting specialists including radiologists, cardiologists, and others
Qualifications
- Must be board certified by ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Ohio state license required, IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ
- Current COVID vaccination required
- Must have ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience required
- Clean background and self-query NPDB required
Working Hours
- 12-hour shifts, available for both day and night shifts
- Weekend shifts required
Skills
- Proficiency in using EMR systems like All Scripts/Paragon
- Strong decision-making and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
