📋 Description
An exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to manage complex traumatic injuries while working alongside a strong multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide operative and non-operative care for traumatic orthopedic injuries
• Perform emergency and life-saving surgical procedures
• Participate in rotating trauma and emergency call coverage
• Collaborate with ICU, emergency medicine, neurosurgery, and trauma teams
• Contribute to trauma quality improvement initiatives and documentation
• Support education and training of residents/medical staff (if applicable)
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified / Board Eligible
• Fellowship training in Trauma or Acute Care preferred
• Active Florida medical license
• ATLS certification
• Minimum 2 years post-training experience preferred
Working Hours
• Full-time
• Rotating schedule (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
• Shared trauma call
