Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon – Davenport, Iowa (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Hospital-only position (no clinic)
- Cover orthopedic trauma cases and same-day add-ons
- Trauma Level III practice
- Locations: Davenport Campus & Silvis Campus (13 miles apart)
- Shifts: 7–10 per month
- Shift Length: 24 hours
- OR access every day
- On-call: Yes, inpatient only (hospital-based, no clinic call)
- Physicians: 8 (mix of joint, spine, hand, podiatry)
- Advanced Practice Providers: 8 (nursing and APP support in OR)
- No supervision of APPs expected
- Average Daily Hospital Census: 230–250 patients
- Services: All orthopedic traumas admitted
- Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy available
- EMR system: Cerner
- No outreach or telehealth
- No teaching responsibilities
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery (required)
- Fellowship Trained in Orthopedics (required)
- Active IA and/or IL medical license OR active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) (required)
- Experienced provider (required)
- Willing to work at both Davenport & Silvis locations
