Orthopedic Surgeon – Trauma Opening – Pacific Northwest Located in Corvallis, OR An exceptional opportunity for a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collegial and high-performing team at a Level II Trauma Center in Oregon’s scenic Willamette Valley. Work with a respected group of surgeons dedicated to education, research, and comprehensive orthopedic care. About the Position -Work exclusively at a Level II Trauma Center providing advanced orthopedic trauma services -Access to a nationally recognized Ambulatory Surgery Center for outpatient procedures -Collaborate as part of a 3-surgeon trauma team supported by an APC, with plans to add a second -Flexible schedule of ten 24-hour shifts per month -Cover trauma clinic, OR, and call with resident team (first call by resident, then attending) -Teach and mentor orthopedic residents and medical students as part of an ACGME-accredited residency program -Cases include orthopedic trauma, MVAs, pediatric and geriatric fractures, periarticular fractures, pelvis/acetabular trauma, and non-unions -Revision arthroplasty not required -Expansive referral network serving three counties and over 300,000 residents -EPIC EMR utilized for coordinated patient management Qualifications -Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery -Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma -Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills -Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and academic collaboration -Eligibility to work in the United States Compensation and Benefits -Competitive salary with incentive opportunities -Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance -Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement -Malpractice coverage including tail -CME allowance and paid professional development time About the Organization -Part of Samaritan Health Services, an award-winning, non-profit integrated healthcare network -Serving approximately 300,000 residents across Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley and Central Coast -Strong commitment to quality, education, and patient-centered innovation About the Community -Located in Corvallis, a vibrant university town surrounded by the natural beauty of the Willamette Valley -Minutes from mountains, rivers, and the Oregon Coast for year-round outdoor recreation -Home to Oregon State University, offering cultural, athletic, and academic amenities -Family-friendly environment with excellent schools and safe neighborhoods -Close to Portland and Eugene for big-city access and entertainment
