Enloe Ortho-Trauma Service in beautiful Northern California is looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join our hospital-based practice.

About the Practice:

  • Adding a 4th surgeon to a well-established group of 3 Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons
  • Hospital-based clinic with zero overhead
  • Emergency Department sees an average of 80,000 patients per year
  • Schedule is equally split amongst the 4 surgeons
  • Always 2 surgeons working each day (1 Call, 1 Back Up)
  • Work half the month/year; have half the month/year off
  • Call shifts (24 hours) cover the OR cases and ER/inpatient consults
  • Back-up shifts (Avg 6- 8 hours) cover rounds, clinic and occasionally over-flow OR cases
  • 24-hour Physician Assistant coverage for clinic and ER/Inpatient calls and consults, 7 days a week
  • 12-hour Physician Assistant coverage in the Operating Room, Monday through Friday
  • Dedicated Orthopaedic clinic, staffed with Advanced Practitioners, technicians, non-surgical Orthopaedists
  • Estimated year one annual compensation range $625k to $650k, medical liability malpractice costs covered by the medical center, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be provided

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma
Possess or be eligible for California State Medical License
