Job Description – Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Specialty: Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Location: Everett, WA
Start Date: October 27, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: Ongoing until permanent hire
Schedule & Coverage

Block Schedule: 4-week rotation; 7-day block, 1 week out of 4

Shift Time: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm (day shift only, pager call during shift)

Call: Daytime pager only; no night call

Cases: 3–4 surgical cases per day, mostly bread-and-butter trauma

Flexibility: Will consider local providers available 1–2 days per week
Practice Environment

Trauma Level: II

Support Staff: Strong PA coverage for OR assist and rounding

Procedures: General trauma; geriatric fractures, neck, pelvic trauma (preferred but not required)

Clinic: No clinic responsibilities at present (could change later)

Patient Demographics: Adults

EMR: Epic
Requirements

Board Certification: Required (BE considered)

Training: Fellowship-trained in orthopedic surgery; trauma fellowship not required if comfortable with complex trauma

Experience: Will consider new grads out of residency if trauma-trained

License: WA license or IMLC (facility will support licensing)

DEA: Required

Timeframe: 60–90 days (emergency privileging possible with clean file)
