- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only There are an average of 5-10 patients per shift. An Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon is needed to provide seven days of call coverage per month at a high-acuity level 2 trauma center operating similarly to a level 1. This role is strictly for call coverage with no clinic duties required. Candidates must be board certified in orthopedic trauma surgery and have demonstrated experience managing complex cases, including acetabular fractures, hemi-arthroplasty, various fractures, external fixation (Ex-Fix), and pinning procedures.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage orthopedic trauma cases during call shifts
* Perform surgical procedures as needed, including complex trauma cases
* Collaborate with trauma team and hospital staff during emergencies
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a high-acuity trauma setting
* Current, unrestricted medical license
Working Hours
* No clinic duties required

* Skilled in performing hemi-arthroplasty
* Expertise in managing fractures, external fixation (Ex-Fix), and pinning
* Strong decision-making in high-pressure trauma environments
